  • we totally skipped july!

As you can tell, July was pretty busy for the Bullocks.  We're now in August and trying to catch our breath.  Can you believe that in 2 week most of our locals schools will be back in session!?!  That's good and bad for us.....good because it starts up a normal routine again.  Bad, because that means winter is just around the corner!  Here are some pictures to sum up July for us!

Unfortunately, we have no proof of Lindsey and Lucas' visit to Indiana.  But it was great....maybe Lindz will get a picture up here eventually.

The 1st week of July was Summer Camp for us!  It was AWESOME!

When we got back from Summer Camp, our dog had puppies....which was quite an ordeal!

Then, Brenna and I went for a weekend trip with Brittany to see Katie Vale, Chandler, and Jillian in Illinois.

The next week we headed to Mackinac with the Bender Nation (sorry, I don't have many pictures of that, Jess...I hope you do!)

....And then to Camp Paradise!  Next time you see Brad, you'll have to ask him about his experience meeting Bill Hybels (and yes, I'm for real!).

  • I'm Mad!

So I had a GREAT LONG entry about our trip the other day....that got interrupted with the storm.  Of course it didn't save.  It makes me mad.  So...until I get the desire to write all that again, you will just have to ask how the trip went.

Here are some pictures! They were salvaged at least!

  • So Long, Farewell...

    Hello!

We head out for Washington D.C. on Saturday morning, so I thought I'd "write" before we left.  Please pray for us and our 10 students (and then 40 from Nappanee) that are going to Washington D.C. to talk to people about Jesus!  We are extremely excited for our group, and I'm excited to see what God has in store for us while we are there.

I'm finding it harder to leave Brenna behind, just because she is just so darn cute!  She will be with the Grandmas, so drop by and help them out.....they might need a break.  I know she will be fine and that she will have a great time, so I'm just praying that she doesn't even miss us while we are gone.  Hopefully she won't be walking by the time we're back!!

If you want to keep up with our team, here is where we will be posting updates:

Thanks for your prayers!!  We love you!!

  • An exciting week!

We've had a pretty exciting week here at the farm!

We've done a lot of "home improvements"....air conditioners, sinks, dog fencing, and moving Brenna to her new room!  We decided it was time for us to change some things, to make our lives easier because Brenna is beginning a whole new phase in her life.  A couple weeks ago she started sitting up in her crib to look out at us.  This made putting her to bed much harder because she was off the living room, and unless we were ready to go to bed too....there was no way she wanted to miss out on the party with Mom and Dad.  That and we were ready to get a much better nights sleep.    So, we took apart the crib and moved her up to her own room!  I'm really looking forward to decorating this small room to make it more her own.  It's pretty empty right now.   I think she really likes it though, because she hasn't fussed at all when I've put her to bed this week!  Amazing!

Baby....she loves the new room, can you tell?!

     Brenna's Screaming Ability

    A Big Milestone!!

In other news....Brenna's crawling.  There were many "I think this could be it" moments, but as of today, she is definitely crawling.  Her form might not be the best yet, but she can move from one place to another much faster than I can keep track of her!  It's really fun to watch her!!  She has also developed "the nod."  I haven't caught this on camera yet, but it's pretty hilarious.  She also started screaming....not a mad, I hate you scream....but a happy, I can't even contain my emotion scream.  I think back to a year ago....and it is nuts to think about....Brenna is huge, and she's only going to continue to amaze us!  I hope you enjoy the videos!
